Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This policy explains what data the Darius Chrome extension collects, why, and how it's used. Darius is currently a free beta and requires no account, no sign-up, and no payment. It's built to need as little data as possible — most of what it does requires none at all.
What Darius does
Darius is a Chrome extension that analyzes memecoin tokens (on Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and other supported chains) when you visit their page on a supported trading platform, and displays a risk score based on public on-chain and market data.
Data used to analyze a token
To produce an analysis, Darius sends the public token contract address you're currently viewing to third-party data providers (blockchain nodes, block explorers, and market data APIs such as DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, RugCheck, GoPlus Security, and others). This is the same public, non-personal information anyone could look up manually on a block explorer. No personal identifying information about you is sent as part of this process.
Data stored locally on your device
Darius stores the following only in your browser's local extension storage, never on any server:
- Your extension preferences (enabled/disabled, auto-scan setting)
- Optional API keys you choose to add yourself (e.g. Birdeye)
- A short-lived cache of recent analysis results, to avoid repeated requests
None of this data is transmitted to us. We have no server, no database, and no account system — there is nothing for us to collect.
What we never do
- We never collect or store any personal information about you.
- We never sell data to third parties.
- We never track which specific websites you visit beyond the token address needed to run an analysis.
- We never store your wallet's private keys or seed phrase — Darius never asks for them.
- We never display advertising.
Third-party services used
Analysis requests are sent to public blockchain nodes and market/security data providers including (but not limited to) DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, RugCheck, GoPlus Security, Honeypot.is, CoinGecko, Birdeye, Solscan, Etherscan and equivalent block explorers, and Jupiter. Each operates under its own privacy policy for the requests Darius sends them.
Your choices
You can disable Darius, clear its local storage, or uninstall the extension at any time from Chrome's extension settings.
Changes to this policy
If Darius introduces new features that change what data is collected (for example, an optional paid plan in the future), this page will be updated beforehand to reflect it.
